NSW: Police targeting crime without regard to ethnicity
SYDNEY, Jan 19 AAP - Police were targeting violent criminals without regard to their
ethnicity in Sydney's south-west, Taskforce Gain support commander Superintendent Stuart
Wilkins said today.
NSW Police Commissioner Ken Moroney has reportedly raised plans to reshape the taskforce
into a permanent squad to keep on top of gangs with links to Middle Eastern crime syndicates.
Supt Wilkins today briefed the media on an overnight operation at Brighton-le-Sands
targeting car hoons, some of whom were suspected of being involved in recent violent …
