An 18-year-old city man has been charged with possession of stolen property for allegedly having a guitar stolen over the summer from the Music Mobile van.
Michael Kalinowski of 790 Myrtle Ave. appeared Tuesday in Albany Police Court on a charge of fourth- degree possession of stolen property, police said. He is scheduled to reappear in court on Tuesday.
According to police reports, Kalinowski is accused of having the guitar in his possession this summer, shortly after its disappearance. Police said the guitar, a custom made Stringfellow owned by Ruth Pelham, originator of the Music Mobile, was recovered recently and returned to her.
