Fed: Saudi Arabia was real reason for US war in Iraq - analyst

A visiting intelligence analyst says the real reason the United States invaded Iraq
was Saudi Arabia.

Dr GEORGE FRIEDMAN, chairman of the US private sector intelligence company Stratfor,
says Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction were only an excuse for the war.

Dr FRIEDMAN says the US went to war against Iraq to show Saudi Arabia and al-Qaeda
that they can fight and win a war in the Middle East.
