NSW: NSW inquiry into hospitals to hold hearings in west Syd
SYDNEY, April 3 AAP - A statewide inquiry into the NSW health system will next week
conduct public hearings at two western Sydney hospitals.
Commissioner Peter Garling SC will next Tuesday visit Nepean Hospital between 10am
and 4pm (AEST), and then Westmead Hospital on Thursday between 9.30am and 5pm.
It is the first time the special commission of inquiry into acute care services in
NSW public hospitals will hold hearings at either venue.
Mr Garling said he wanted to hear from anyone who can give information on any problems
facing NSW public hospitals and any possible solutions to these problems.
Further public hearings are expected to be held across NSW.
